Darwin Street Art Festival

Darwin Street Art Festival

Before House of Darwin became a reality, a vibrant mural was already coming to life on the walls of Austin Lane in Darwin's CBD. Founder Shaun Edwards, living in LA at the time, crossed paths with artist Luna Tunes and felt an undeniable pull to channel the spirit of the Top End into something creative.

Though House of Darwin was just a spark of an idea, Shaun’s deep connection to Darwin and his passion for sharing the stories of the region with the world ignited his vision. Together with Luna Tunes, and through the Darwin Street Art Festival, they crafted a breathtaking mural that captures the untamed landscapes and distinctive wildlife of the Northern Territory. Now standing proudly beside the House of Darwin store, this mural serves as a celebration of the North’s beauty, inspiring all who see it to embrace the wild essence that makes the Territory extraordinary.
